This camp will surely benefit all types of athletes. We hope you can join us!
Freshman are welcome to attend as often as possible.
Cost: $75.00 for any or all of the weeks. (This is a one-time fee regardless of the number of weeks you plan to attend)
Camp fee includes camp t-shirts, nutritional snacks, and drinks each day.
Cross Country Training
This camp is designed for incoming freshman who are interested in running cross country this fall.
The cross country staff at De Smet Jesuit High School plans to help our athletes develop endurance, strength, flexibility, and a strong work ethic that will help them improve as a runner. Camp participants will learn a proper warm-up and stretching routine, complete a running workout, be introduced to a strength and core training routine, and will end each day with a cool-down followed by a nutritious snack and refreshments
No prior running experience is necessary to join this camp. Incoming freshman who are new runners will begin with 10-15 minutes of running.
This camp is for any student who will be a freshman at De Smet Jesuit and who would like to develop his speed in preparation for any sport. Camp participants will learn a proper warm-up and stretching routine, complete a speed-based running workout, be introduced to a strength and core training routine, and will end each day with a cool-down followed by a nutritious snack and refreshments.
Please wear running shoes and comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle for breaks.
