During the summer of 2023 De Smet Jesuit High School is offering credit-bearing summer courses. These courses meet for 60 hours during the months of June and July on a schedule set by the teacher. These courses cost $300. Registration and payment must be completed during the same time as regular course registration, but is completed through the summer course registration page on DeSmet.org. The summer courses page can be located under Academics and Arts on desmet.org. Each summer class counts for one-half credit (the same as a one-semester class) towards the graduation requirements and can be used to open a student’s schedule for additional regular school-year electives or Study Halls.
For questions regarding the classes, please speak with Mr. Traughber, Mr. Williams, or the teacher of each course. Full descriptions for each course are available in the Curriculum Guide
Contact the teacher of the class for information about the course schedule. Courses will be a combination of in person and virtual.
