Mothers United in Mission

The Mothers’ Club is a joyful and dedicated community of moms, stepmoms, grandmothers, and female guardians who support De Smet Jesuit through service, fellowship, and faith. Whether you're helping with a fundraiser, attending a Mass, or simply connecting with other Spartan moms, there are countless ways to get involved and make a difference. Together, we help create the welcoming, mission-driven spirit that defines the De Smet Jesuit experience.

Welcome Back Meeting - 9/30

Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2026

Location: De Smet Cafeteria

Attendees: De Smet Jesuit High School Mothers/Mother Figures

This is a great opportunity to reconnect, learn about the exciting events planned for the year ahead, and find ways to get involved. The evening will also include a brief presentation from Hope Ignites, highlighting their mission and impact in our community. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new members as we kick off another great year with the Mothers' Club!

Mother-Son Trivia - 10/11

Team up with your son for a night of fun and friendly competition. With questions designed to challenge both generations, it’s an evening full of laughter, teamwork, and the chance to win prizes. Light snacks, refreshments, and plenty of spirited camaraderie make this a favorite Mothers’ Club tradition.

Christmas Boutique - 11/19

Get a head start on holiday shopping at the annual Christmas Boutique, featuring unique vendors, festive décor, and seasonal treats. Friends gather to browse gifts, enjoy cocktails, and soak in the holiday cheer. This event is a perfect blend of socializing and shopping, all in support of De Smet Jesuit.

Gift Wrapping for FacStaff- 12/11

Help spread holiday joy by wrapping Christmas gifts for our dedicated faculty and staff. Volunteers gather to share Christmas music, conversation, and festive spirit while packaging presents with care. Wrapping supplies are provided, and all that is needed is your time and holiday cheer.

Senior Mom Prom - 1/17

Mother-Son Mass & Brunch - 3/7

Spartan Olympics - 5/11

Attendees: De Smet Jesuit sophomore students and Special Olympic athletes & families

De Smet Jesuit proudly hosts over 200 athletes for the annual Special Olympics track and field event. Sophomore students serve as buddies and volunteers, making this a memorable service experience. Parents play a key role in organizing, donating supplies, and helping the day run smoothly for our athletes and guests.

WHO ARE WE?

The mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters of Spartan Country show up with purpose and joy. From beloved annual events like the Taste of De Smet, Mother-Son Trivia, and the Christmas Boutique to our Mother-Son Mass and Dinner, auction, and fun social gatherings—there’s always something meaningful (and fun!) happening.

Our volunteers also support the Spartan Shop, host faculty appreciation events, and partner with service organizations like Hope Ignites—helping build the strong, faith-filled community our students thrive in.

All mothers and female guardians are automatically members of the Mothers’ Club and are welcome to participate at any level. Your involvement makes a difference—not just for our students, but for you and your family’s De Smet experience.
