WHO ARE WE?

The De Smet African American Parents Council (DAAP) exists to build community, support African American students and families, and promote a deeper understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion at De Smet Jesuit.

In partnership with school leadership, DAAP helps new families acclimate, stay informed, and feel supported throughout their time at De Smet. The group hosts a variety of events and invites guest speakers to monthly meetings to share valuable insights and resources.

All African American families are automatically enrolled in DAAP and are encouraged to participate at any level. To get involved or learn more, contact daap@desmet.org.
