Spartanfest this year was a great success! Between lunches, tournaments, house competitions, and dress down days, the school came together to build community and brotherhood in a tangible way. Students competed in spikeball, basketball, and field goal kicking while fueling up with special lunches ranging from pizza to Raising Cane’s. The week exists to cultivate an atmosphere of fellowship and Jesuit mission, bringing De Smet Jesuit together in spirit.
As an added bonus, Spartan Country showed up early on Friday morning for Fox 2 News as the featured Pepzone school of the week, hosted by Katherine Hessel. Sports and Spirit led students in fun games and cheers, and Chef Scott and his team refueled the early risers with pancakes and sausage.
Thanks to all who participated and made the fun possible!
