New Turf for Spartan Country

rendering of new stadium turf shield in mid-field
De Smet Jesuit Communications

De Smet Jesuit is excited to announce we have partnered with ATG Sports to begin replacing our stadium turf field with a new Premium RamTurf synthetic turf system. Installation of the new turf will begin on July 25.

Designs include a 52’ shield logo placed at mid-field and markings for football, soccer, and lacrosse. Maroon end zones will have white letters with black trim proclaiming DE SMET at the north end and JESUIT on the south end.

There will be no use of the turf field while under construction, and track use may be impacted periodically, but alternate plans for athletes will be communicated accordingly. Completion is scheduled for the end of August.
