Maroon Madness
The annual Maroon Madness giving tournament is back, and this year's Maroon Madness theme is to "March to a Million."
Along with the annual class challenge for the highest overall giving percentage, we're striving to reach $1 million raised by our alumni for the first time in school history. While this is ambitious, the need for these funds is real. Currently 50% of our students require assistance in addition to the "Gap" (the cost to educate-tuition). This equates to an additional $1 million need to the school – which is where "March to a Million" can truly make an impact.
To achieve this, each class is being provided with specific goals (based on their past participation and cumulative giving) to support in offsetting tuition(s) for young men who need additional support to attend De Smet Jesuit.
