Anchored in faith

The Eucharist is central to our community. Join us for Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 a.m. in the chapel, with Adoration and Confession offered on select Fridays. Fathers, sons, and alumni are invited to First Friday Mass each month, followed by a coffee reception.

We also gather for all-school Masses on holy days and Jesuit traditions like the Mass of the Holy Spirit and Missioning Mass, and each class celebrates quarterly Masses in the Boian Chapel. Prayer groups meet throughout the year, from weekly gatherings to seasonal Advent and Lent reflections.

"De Smet Jesuit allows us to learn about and practice our faith in community, whereby we come to know the person of Jesus Christ more authentically and come to no other conclusion than that we are loved unconditionally by God"

"Our Catholic school allows time for students to reflect and pray throughout the day. The time for prayer is important as these young men are developing coping skills and testing their own moral compasses."

"I am hopeful we can continue being a tangible encounter of God for students of all walks of life, wherever they are on their faith journeys. I am proud of our inclusive witness to the presence of God around and among us all."
