INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

In August 2023, De Smet Jesuit became the first Catholic high school in St. Louis to launch an Inclusive Education Program, welcoming young men with intellectual disabilities into meaningful school-life integration. Participants earn a modified diploma aligned with standard curriculum goals and life-skills training, while peer mentors from the broader student body foster academic, social, and leadership development.
