Started in the year 2000 by Coach Peter Lenzini, the De Smet Jesuit Ultimate Team has been a perennial powerhouse in the State and Region, with a history of competitive Varsity and JV teams that includes a run of 11 straight State Championships from 2008-2018, multiple years ranked within the top 20 High School teams in the Nation, and many joyful traditions of excellence (like the fabled end-of-year DUCgusta Invitational Disc Golf Tournament - held at the end of the season on the beautiful grounds of DUCgusta National Disc Golf Course here at De Smet Jesuit). Our program prides itself on being competitive, cohesive and playing with the respect for all participants that our great game is built upon.
