Track & Field
Track and Field is a perfect combination of many different abilities and talents. Our team welcomes the fast and the quick, the big and the strong, the dedicated and determined. We provide opportunities for competition on three levels – freshman, junior varsity, and varsity. The coaches encourage athletes to strive towards personal development and achievement, not only of the mind, but of the spirit. Through setting team and individual goals, and working hard to realize them, De Smet Track and Field creates talented and dedicated young athletes, and mature, self-confident young men.
With great championship teams come championship-caliber players (and coaches).
De Smet Jesuit has a long history of success in Track & Field with athletes competing at a high level and moving on to compete at the next level. The last 3 seasons have been some of the most successful seasons in school history with multiple district titles, large groups qualifying for state, and 2nd place finish at Sectionals. Each season, our Spartans continue to set new personal and school records continuing to raise the bar.
