BASS FISHING

Our Spartan Fishing Team continues to grow!

Bass Fishing is sanctioned as an Emerging Sport with the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA). We compete in the state of Missouri as part of the National Youth Fishing Association (NYFA), as well as The Student Anglers Federation (SAF), which includes Major League Fishing (MLF) and The Bass Federation (TBF). We also take part in St. Louis area conferences and shore fishing tournaments. 

The team is open to anyone who likes to fish or wants to learn how. However, a bass fishing boat is required in order to compete in the state tournaments. Contact Kevin Berns kberns@desmet.org for more information.
