More than 52 teams don the Spartan uniform each year with at least one no-cut sport offered each season. Spartan athletes compete in LaBarge Stadium, which features FieldTurf and a Mondo track surface, a baseball stadium with a turf infield that is one of the finest high school facilities in the area, and the school's gymnasium. De Smet Jesuit has won at least one state championship in 15 of the 19 sports.

Tradition of Excellence

Our Spartan Athletes won State Titles in Football, Hockey, and Volleyball during the 2024 - 2025 school year. 

De Smet Jesuit High School Athletics include baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, hockey, inline hockey, lacrosse, racquetball, soccer, swimming and diving, tennis, track, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
