Frequently Asked Questions
I notice you have girls in your theatre productions. Where do they come from?
Our girls come from many public and private schools across the St. Louis area.
If I play a sport, does that mean I can't be involved in a play?
Not at all. We've set up the production schedule so that we have a production in each of the three sports seasons. So, if you play basketball, you could be involved in the Fall Play or the One Acts. If you play soccer, you could be involved in the Musical or One Acts. If you play baseball, you could do the Fall Play or Musical.
Do you need to have theatre experience to become involved in the theatre program?
No experience necessary—everyone is welcome!
What opportunities are available in the extra curricular theatre program?
Acting, directing, lighting, sound, stage management, stage crew, etc.
How many theatre productions do you offer each year?
We do a Fall Play (September-October), a Spring Musical (December-February), and Senior Directed One Act Plays (March-April).
