Where compassion and creativity collide.

Known for connecting students to the world through art, the Studio Art department at De Smet Jesuit offers courses ranging from an introductory skill level to an advanced college preparatory level. Students can experiment with individual electives such as sculpting or graphic design, or delve deeply into our comprehensive four-year studio art program.

Graffiti Wall Time Lapse

This is what happens

when Student Government meets the art department. Thanks to collaborative efforts with local artists eyez and brklynstl and support from our advancement team, Spartans now have a graffiti wall on site.

Time lapse video capturing the final paint session was made by Aaron Lasek '19 with post-production assistance by Will Hanson '21.
