Created in 2024, The Spartan Cup Challenge invites De Smet Jesuit alumni celebrating a reunion year to show their Spartan pride through a friendly, mission-driven competition. Now in its second year, the challenge is about more than winning—it's about reconnecting with classmates and supporting today’s Spartans through the Spartan Fund.
HOW IT WORKS:
All reunion-year classes are automatically entered into The Spartan Cup Challenge. The winning class earns bragging rights and gets their name engraved on The Spartan Cup trophy.
HOW TO WIN:
Classes earn points in two categories:

Total Class Attendance Percentage (percentage of classmates who attend their reunion)
-
Total Class Giving Percentage (percentage of classmates who give during their reunion year's fiscal year)
The class with the most points by June 30, 2026, will be announced as the Spartan Cup Winner!
