Shadow days for spring of 2021 begin at 11 a.m. (please do not arrive early). Pick-up time for seventh grade is 2:45 P.M. Because of restrictions, please drop off and pick up at the circle near the Ballas entrance.

To follow our business casual dress code, shadows should wear a collared shirt with khaki shorts or pants.

We will practice social distancing, keep group sizes small, and wear masks.

What if we are running late to our evening visit?

No problem! Head to our Admissions Office and we will get you joined up with a tour right away.

Does it matter what we wear to the evening shadow event, daily tour, or open house?

Accepted Answer

No. Although our typical dress code includes any color khaki pants and a collared shirt, you are welcome to dress comfortably.

Will we have a chance to meet any current students if we visit in the evening?

Yes. Student ambassadors will be available to discuss sports, arts, clubs, classes, and other activities as well as answer any questions you may have.

What if we cannot stay the entire evening for the visit and tour?

We understand our families are busy! You are welcome to take your boxed dinner to go whenever is convenient.

Yes. Your entire family is welcome. Please make sure to enter the number coming on your registration form.

Which part of campus should we enter for our shadow visit and tour?

Please enter through our main office Ballas Road. A student ambassador will be waiting to greet you.

What other expenses might my son incur beyond tuition and tuition fees?

Accepted Answer

Tuition does not include the cost of books. lunch, or PE uniforms. These costs can vary depending on student needs. Books can range from $150-$350 per year; students can bring lunch from home or buy in the cafeteria, and PE uniforms are a minimal cost during the semester your son is in PE.

Do I need to re-apply for need-based tuition assistance each year?

Accepted Answer

Each family must reapply annually before the established application deadline for the following school year. Changes in your income and family status may result in an increased or decreased award.

If I apply for need-based tuition assistance, will it impact my child's application for admission?

No. Need-based tuition assistance applications do not affect admission decisions; admissions and financial needs are kept strictly confidential and are considered separately by the school's admissions and business offices.

What is the need-based assistant tuition assistance program?

Accepted Answer

All students qualifying and awarded need-based assistance will be required to participate in our Work Grant program. We contact each recipient the spring prior to the upcoming school year to schedule their required duties (Such as emptying recycling bins or sweeping floors). In addition to assigned work duties, each recipient must maintain a good academic and disciplinary standing.

We meet with each student and his family to review transcripts and create a plan that meets individual needs and satisfies graduation requirements.
