Spartan for the Day
What better way to learn about the day-to-day life of a Spartan than by joining one for the school day? At De Smet Jesuit High School, our current freshman and sophomores host prospective students for a half day, providing them a sneak peak at high school life by attending classes, participating in activity period, and eating lunch.
Students currently in the 8th grade may accompany a current sophomore during the fall semester and current 7th graders may accompany a freshman in the spring.
Visits begin at 7:50AM and conclude at 12:30PM. Visitors should report to the Admissions Center in the morning where they will meet their companion.
Dress Code:
Spartans for the Day are asked to dress like our current students. They should wear dress/khaki pants, a collared shirt, dress shoes, dress socks and a belt. There are no color limitations.
Lunch:
Spartans for the Day will enjoy a complimentary lunch and will be able to choose from a wide variety of food and beverages in our cafeteria.
