De Smet Jesuit Curriculum
De Smet Jesuit offers a college preparatory curriculum to meet the needs of a wide variety of students. While the requirements for each graduate are the same, De Smet Jesuit's curriculum is customized to each individual student's schedule ability. In each academic discipline, we meet the student where he is.
We offer 19 Advanced Placement classes and 16 Saint Louis University 1-8-1-8 courses at De Smet. Between the AP and 1818 programs, De Smet Jesuit offers over 100 college credit hours.
Below are some of the results of this customized curriculum over the last five years:
- 184 Missouri "Bright Flight" Scholars;
- 15 National Merit Finalists;
- Over 100 million dollars in scholarship money awarded;
