The Alum Service Corps (ASC) is a volunteer organization sponsored by the Jesuits of the Missouri Province and its domestic Jesuit high schools.
ASC volunteers are graduates of Jesuit high schools who give back a year of their life in service as thanksgiving for their Jesuit education. Volunteers serve as faculty members in Jesuit high schools and contribute in a variety of ways, including: teaching classes, academic counseling and tutoring, pastoral activities, service program activities, coaching and athletic training, student government projects, fine arts activities, school publications, science and computer lab moderator, computer tech, development office and admission projects. Most importantly, ASC volunteers are available to respond to the needs of the schools as they develop throughout the year.
De Smet Jesuit has two ASC volunteers on staff for the 2010-12 academic year. To learn more about the ASC program or to apply to serve as an ASC, click here.
