The De Smet Jesuit Summer Academy classes seek to educate students in the Ignatian tradition, facilitating intellectual competency by providing innovative educational and collaborative opportunities for faculty and students. The Summer Academy provides De Smet Jesuit students an educational experience that goes beyond the limitations imposed by the traditional school year, schedule and curriculum. Academy courses are offered by De Smet Jesuit teachers primarily during the month of June and are worth 1/2 of a unit of credit as a summer elective.
